Meet Tanya, our new Head Coach 🤍

Hi, I’m Tanya — a Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach from the UK with 20 years of experience in the sport.

I’ve recently moved to Sydney with my husband, our two young daughters, and our golden retriever 🐾 and I’m so excited to be part of the Onyx family.

One of my proudest achievements has been guiding my gymnast, Freya Hill, to the British Championships for Disability Gymnastics for three consecutive years — an unforgettable journey.

My favourite skill to coach? Handstands. Once a gymnast masters a strong, technically sound handstand, everything else starts to fall into place.

I’m passionate about building strong foundations, developing great technique, and helping gymnasts grow into confident athletes who love the sport.

We’re so excited to have you at Onyx 💫

We’re so excited to introduce Spanish-speaking classes at Onyx Gymnastics, led by our coach Sol from Argentina!

These classes will be run fully in Spanish, creating a fun, immersive environment for children to learn and build confidence through movement.
